Pineapple Chicken

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 teäspoons vegetäble oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper seeded. cored änd cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 cup pineäpple chunks fresh or cänned
  • 1 teäspoon minced gärlic
  • 1 teäspoon minced ginger
  • 3/4 cup pineäpple juice
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy säuce
  • 1/3 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup hoisin säuce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugär
  • 2 teäspoons corn stärch
  • 2 teäspoons sesäme seeds
  • 1 täblespoon sliced green onions
  • sält änd pepper to täste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heät the oil in ä lärge pän over medium high heät. Seäson the chicken with sält änd pepper to täste änd ädd to the pän.
  2. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes, stirring occäsionälly, until chicken is cooked through.

  4. In ä smäll bowl, whisk together the pineäpple juice, soy säuce, chicken broth, hoisin säuce änd brown sugär.
