Whole30 Hawaiian Chicken Wings

INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE CHICKEN WINGS:

  • 1 täblespoon ävocädo or coconut oil
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tsp sält
  • 1 tsp gärlic powder

FOR THE SäUCE:

  • 1 cup coconut äminos
  • 2/3 cup pineäpple juice concenträte
  • 3 slices of ginger
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper fläkes
  • 1/4 tsp gärlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • pinch of sält

METHOD:

  1. Preheät the oven to 425 degrees. Toss the chicken wings in the oil, sält, änd gärlic powder. Läy them in ä single läyer on ä bäking sheet änd bäke for 45-50 minutes or until crispy.
  2. While the wings äre cooking, mäke the säuce. Combine äll of the säuce ingredients in ä säucepän. Bring the säuce to ä boil änd then reduce the heät to ä simmer.
  3.  Let the säuce simmer for 10-15 more minutes or until it's thickened änd coäts the bäck of spoon. Then, remove the säuce from the heät.
